Funeral Celebrant –
Sue Sowerby

Dealing with grief is one of the hardest things to encounter. I too have loved and lost. So I understand and feel your grief.

As an experienced Celebrant for a Celebration of Life, End of Life visit or a Memorial/Interment of Ashes I am suitably qualified in marketing communications, eulogy writing & public speaking. I offer empathy, sincerity and dignity. My role is ‘To Honour a Life’.

I will be there every step of the way. This means meeting and spending precious time with you to gain a good understanding about the person you have lost – and I will deliver a beautiful ceremony on the day.

Funeral Celebrant –
Wanda Barnard

Saying goodbye to a loved one is an incredibly personal and meaningful event.

With a Diploma in Funeral Celebrancy and over 6 years’ experience in officiating funerals, I understand the profound importance of working alongside families to ensure the funeral service serves as touching tributes, celebrating the lives lived and the memories cherished by those left behind.

Funeral Celebrant –
Alan McArdle

After having been through personal family bereavements since 2014 and having an understanding of what a person may feel due to the loss of a loved one, I decided to train as a Funeral Celebrant and enrolled on a training course with Peter Headington.

Guidance has been given to me by my mentors where I have learnt how to deal with bereaved families in an empathetic way, being able to help and guide them through what can be a very difficult and challenging time.

When I meet with a family, I take as much time as is needed to work with you to be able to produce a memorable and unique tribute capturing those cherished and much loved memories to celebrate the life of your loved one.

dove

Funeral Doves

Releasing doves provides a meaningful and symbolic way to celebrate the life of a loved one.

We work closely with families on coordinating this added special touch to a funeral service.

Whether it is immediately after the funeral, at the interment, a memorial service, an ashes scattering, or an anniversary, a release of doves is a special addition to help you to honour your loved one’s memory.

On the day, we will be there to guide you on carefully handling the birds. If you prefer, there is a hatch that can be opened where the doves can fly off together directly from the basket (so no handling is needed).

£95 for x1 £15.00 each thereafter.

Bag Pipes

Bagpipes for Funerals and Memorials

The bagpipes have been commemorating the loss of loved ones with music at funeral services for hundreds of years.

Many people associate bagpipes with funerals and this is because they can powerfully touch our deepest emotions.

Professional Singer

Having a professional singer can ease the worry that people will be too emotional to sing. It can also give mourners the confidence to participate.

We have 2 singers we would recommend, Shelley Toye and Caitlin Downie who are both classically trained singers and have a wealth of experience singing at funeral services.
